OUR SCREENING PROCESS

Preparing hearts for true transformation

At Truth Foundation Movement, we believe Bible training is most effective when the heart, mind, and spirit are whole and ready to receive.

Many believers desire to grow spiritually, but unresolved trauma, emotional wounds, or spiritual bondage can make the journey difficult or overwhelming.

For this reason, every student who applies to the Truth Foundation Bible School begins with a gentle, confidential screening process that includes:

1. TRAUMA & EMOTIONAL HEALTH ASSESMENT:

Before starting Bible School, we guide each student through a supportive assessment facilitated by Mathilda Bornman, our trained trauma therapist.

This process helps us understand:

  • Past trauma or emotional challenges

  • Areas where healing may be needed

  • Patterns or struggles that may hinder spiritual growth

This is not a psychological diagnosis.

It is a safe conversation designed to help us identify where a student may benefit from additional support before beginning Bible School.

2. DELIVERANCE EVALUATION:

We recognise that spiritual bondage, generational patterns, and unhealed wounds can block growth, clarity, and biblical understanding.

Part of our screening includes a deliverance evaluation, where we prayerfully discern whether the applicant may need:

  • Inner healing

  • Basic deliverance

  • Deeper spiritual intervention

  • Support for emotional or spiritual strongholds

Our goal is never to label or shame — it is to set students up for freedom and victory from the beginning.

3. REQUIRED PRE-SCHOOL HEALING SESSION:

If the assessment shows that someone needs support before entering Bible School, we lovingly require either:

DELIVERANCE MINISTRY SESSIONS:

Conducted by Rocco Bornman, pastor and vice dean, focusing on prayer, healing, and breaking spiritual strongholds.

TRAUMA THERAPY:

Facilitated by a qualified trauma specialist, Mathilda Bornman, aimed at restoring emotional stability, identity, and peace.

These sessions ensure that every student enters the program from a place of:

  • Emotional stability

  • Spiritual freedom

  • Mental clarity

  • Readiness to grow deeply in the Word

WHY WE DO THIS:

Because discipleship requires a healed vessel.

We are committed to raising mature, grounded believers who walk in truth, identity, and spiritual authority. But true transformation begins with healing.

Our process ensures that every student enters Bible School aligned, whole, and ready to fully receive what God has for them.

This is not a barrier, it is a gift.

A loving, intentional step to protect the student, honor their journey, and set them up for long-term freedom and success.
